Exactly. What always gets me about the "I want to move there!" set or Chamber of Commerce boosters is the hoisting up of touristy areas as if they "say" something about a city. In reality, most people who live in those cities hardly ever visit those areas and often actively avoid them or put them down.

Does anyone regard SF as the "greatest city in the world" because of the Golden Gate bridge?
