I've been to Los Angeles several times before, and I think this guy is wrong in his comparison. I'm just asking if I missed out on any type of possible similarity....

Well they did film most of Battle Los Angeles in Baton Rouge so he may have a point.
Both like college football and don't have NFL teams. Both cities are on the i-10 corridor. Both cities have palm trees. Both cities have large oil refineries. Both cities have quite a few hispanic and vietnamese in comparison to other cities in their own regions.
