So name a holiday and a city that you think does the beat at celebrating it.

Examples include lights and trees for Christmas, parades for st patty's day, festivals, or traditions etc.

St. Paddy's Day- Chicago hands down (has one of the largest Irish populations and culture out of any U.S. city)
4th of July- Miami or San Diego
Cinco De Mayo- Los Angeles or Chicago
NYE- NYC or LA

Don't know how Halloween in SF rates these days (it became a huge hassle / danger as crowds grew too large for the event as the police presence grew also) but it would be my #1 place for the 90s - 00s. The only day of the year I plan to hang out in the Castro, unfortunately.

Chicago for Christmas! That's what I'll miss most about my home city. Love the big city and lights all over. Even the houses and suburbs are all lit up! Plus the snow makes it feel right.
