That would be me. Grew up in Yardley, PA and in LA for almost 30 years now. One of the firs timages from the first link is Afton Lake, a/k/a Yardley Pond.
I remember reading an article years ago with best places in the US for each season, and Bucks County was their pick for fall, spring was Marin County, CA. I don't recall summer and winter.

Honolulu for Christmas...I know, it isn't the typical White Christmas stuff, but you get a nice tropical vacation, and there is just something delightful about a Hawaiian Christmas. Can't imagine why anyone would go to frigid Chicago during that time of year.

Labor Day in Los Angeles-typically the weather on the beach is the best during this time, along with the warmest water temps of the year.

For Labor Day what about one of the Rust Belt cities, since (I believe) it was the excessive labor conditions during the Industrial Era that led to the 40-hour workweek conditions and employee privileges we have today.

Yeah, I was thinking Pittsburgh for Labor Day, though having grown up there, they didn't have much of a celebration IIRC.
