Now that Qatar would most likely be stripped of hosting the World Cup in 2022, it's likely that the US would be the host countries. Which cities do you think should host matches?

These cities don't have to necessarily have to be MLS cities.

Here are more choices

Austin

Orlando

NYC

San Jose

DC

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. FIFA is one of the most corrupt organizations on the planet, so it is most likely the World Cup will stay in Qatar for 2022. FIFA is probably waiting that the excitement over the current World Cup will override any public opinion on the 2022 World Cup. The US though, if it decides to bid again, has a strong chance of getting it in 2026.

Honestly, I don't think any of those except for NYC and DC would be able to host it. I'd throw Chicago and LA in there.

The US hosted in 1994 and LA was the site of the final.

Those cities were Pasadena (LA), Pontiac MI (Detroit), Stanford CA (SF), East Rutherford (NJ), Orlando, Chicago, Dallas, DC, and Foxborough MA (Boston).

No, I don't agree with you 100%. Especially for a money making and tourist venture like this. Usually you'd want to host things in your largest cities. After this, what else is left? Houston, Phoenix, Philadelphia, San Diego. I'm pretty sure NYC as America's largest city and DC as the capital would be included no matter what.

I agree with you. I think NYC, LA, DC, and Chicago should definitely get to host.

Since Brazil has 12 hosts cities, I'll just go with that. My selections:

NYC, DC, Chicago, LA, Philly, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego, Seattle, Minneapolis, and Denver. Just to have a change from last time.

Columbus should absolutely host matches.

We have a huge soccer fanbase, many fans here are passionate.
