It seems more than just a bit subjective in your list, if those were meant to be ranked in order that is.

There are about 5 dozen threads on this already btw.

Philadelphia has a GDP and population that belongs with DC and Boston.

No ****ing way in hell its below them.

Atlanta either.

Those four cities are all one tier under NYC, Chicago and LA.

New York should be alone. Richmond, Raleigh, Des Moines, Memphis, Omaha, Tulsa, Toledo, Knoxville, Little Rock etc. are noticebly absent, yet Wichita and Anchorage made the list. Seattle should switch places with Atlanta. Charlotte should be higher as well. Ok! I see Baltimore made the A list lol. Detroit all the way down the list though! Birmingham last! lol Fresno! lol...this better be for laughs

Quite subjective looking, what is your criteria for determining a city's "importance" exactly? Are they in order in the tiers? I would move around a lot of cities to be honest.

My input to this overdone topic: A harsher, more simplistic US city tier list might be:

A
New York

B
Los Angeles

C
Chicago, San Francisco, Washington D.C.

D
Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia

F
The rest
