Interesting social experiment conducted by the Honest Tea company: Based on the honor system of $1 per bottle of tea, what percentage of people actually paid the $1?

The most "honest" city is...
1. Atlanta - 100% of people paid the $1

The rest of the results:
2. Indianapolis - 99%
(t)3. San Diego - 97%
(t)3. Philly - 97%
(t)3. Houston - 97%
(t)3. L.A. - 97%
(t)7. Seattle - 96%
(t)7. Hartford - 96%
(t)7. Baltimore - 96%
(t)7. Nashville - 96%
(t)7. San Francisco - 96%
(t)12. Portland - 95%
(t)12. Sacramento - 95%
(t)12. Cincinnati - 95%
(t)12. Chicago - 95%
(t)12. Denver - 95%
(t)17. D.C. - 94%
(t)17. Dallas - 94%
(t)17. Orlando - 94%
(t)20. New York - 92%
(t)20. St. Louis - 92%
22. Minneapolis - 90%
23. Miami - 88%
(t)24. Tampa - 85%
(t)24. Boston - 85%
(t)24. Providence - 85%

Side note: Apparently D.C. was the only city where people actually TOOK money out of the honor container. Seems fitting actually...

That's funny. I think that I tried two samples at a local Publix. It's good tea.

I don't know about other cities, but they conducted the New York experiment literally one block away from the projects in Brooklyn.
I was passing by it and thinking ... they picked an odd location to give out tea.

The Providence study was conducted in the middle of downtown (in front of ice rink in Kennedy Plaza) right by the central public bus p/u and drop off area.
