lol@ what is or what isn't Southern. I think most of you all want the South to stay depicted like it was in the early part of the 20th century.

I'm not saying Miami is not in the South, but in the most Southern cities, the blacks and whites act EQUALLY Southern and share a lot of the same Southern culture. Are most of the white people in Miami as Southern as most of the black people in Miami? The reason I ask that is because using how Southern a city's black community is alone isn't always a surefire way to determine how Southern a place is as a whole. For example, St. Louis is undeniably a Midwestern city, but the black folks there are the countriest black folks you will ever meet (in a lot of ways even countrier than many black folks in Mississippi and Alabama, even though they'd never admit it). But the white people in St. Louis are very solidly Midwestern in everything from their accents to the way they dress to their culture. So does that mean St. Louis should be classified as a Southern city, just based off the Southerness of its black residents? Just something to think about when relying almost exclusively on a place's black community to determine whether or not it's Southern. Not saying you do that, Spade, but I notice a LOT of people on C-D tend to.

The other three are no better or worse overally than each other.
One other thing, I thought that New Orleans residents seem to very fashion forward. They are up to date on trends, but I guess the scale isn't on par with the other cities

NOLA, to me, seems to do its own thing and isn't concerned with the latest fashion trends at all.

While Miami does indeed rank higher, Dallas is really not far behind.
Not really. Even with that, luxury offerings are still almost identical in both cities with marginal differences. Simon is doing the same with Phipps Plaza to compete with BA so you'll likely hear some retail announces in the coming weeks/months.
