True indeed. I'd even stay away from Beale Street, especially on weekend nights when the weather is warm or nice.

Agree. Sac is WAY under rated and is a beautiful city.

I'm surprised to see St. Lous on the list. I would have thought all the bad news surrounding the black youth/cop shooting incident and subsequent turmoil to make people avoid the St. Louis area (although I know it's a huge metro area, and Ferguson is only one smallish suburb.)

I like the hills and terrain SW of St. Louis, though. And I've read good things about the suburb of St. Charles, MO too.
