Orlando your in between both coasts, Gulf and Atlantic.
Orlando's heat is no joke though. I remember stepping off that plane and being roasted with no warning

Come to think of it, does Vegas even have a skyline if you remove the hotels on the strip??
Orlando's skyline isn't that much to brag about either.

Scenery: Orlando is amazingly lush and crystal clear lakes everywhere. The amount of different trees, flowers and vegetation is amazingly. Las Vegas is one of the driest cities in the World with ugly, rock mountains.

Location: Orlando is close to Tampa, Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and all the unique cities Florida.
Las Vegas is close to Los Angeles, but if someone likes Los Angeles why not move to Los Angles then driving four hours to Los Angeles, San Diego etc.
Orlando is basically Suburbia in a form of glitz and glamour; it's too sterile and sprawled. Even within the core of Orlando, once you leave DT, there's literally no exciting, urban/walkable areas. No exhilarating outdoor activities, the urban parks are underwhelming, and the scenery really isn't too distinct either. There's no interesting districts outside of downtown with steady foot traffic; it's lacking behind various other Southern metros in this regard.

What you said about Las Vegas and LA, can basically be applied to Orlando, and any other Florida city.

Considering there's a height limit due to the Downtown Airport, it isn't bad at all. It's also very different from Vegas in that it is mostly office buildings, with some highrise residential mixed in. Street level is where Downtown Orlando really shines, though. It's lush, beautiful and pretty vibrant.

Not true at all. There are multiple urban/walkable neighborhoods outside of the Downtown core including Thornton Park, Baldwin Park, College Park and Winter Park - Winter Park being the nicest.

Orlando, by and far. I can only tolerate Vegas for 3 days at most. The strip is fun, but fake and all flash, no substance, outside of the strip there is very little in Vegas in regards to culture and substance. Orlando might not have heaps of it either, but I find it to be more livable at the very least. Also, at least you are closer to the ocean and to more cities. Las Vegas can be somewhat isolated.
