Do you think New York and San Francisco are the same? Really if you think about it San Fran and the NYC are quite the same there both situated on an island/peninsula they both have dense buildings they also have famous attractions like NYC has Empire State building and statue of liberty and San Fran has Golden Gate and Trans-american building.

NYC is just too large to be the same. The standards of living, the lifestyles and the cultures are just too radically different to be compared.

I think they have a very similar vibe, but with enough small differences to make each unique.

As stated above, many good similarities and many good unique characteristics.

NYs size and scale and San Francisco's ambience are what I think really separate the two physically. The people are similarly similar and very different at the same time.

In any case, being likened to NY means we're doing something right.

They're both old cities with very dense buildings and good public transportation. However the vibe in each city is completely different to me.

I don't know...maybe they're looking for a vacation and San Fran is closer.

They are nothing alike. NYC's pace can't be matched with any other U.S. city. NYC is NYC. San Fran is San Fran.

Both great cities.
