Technically it's 7. The Raiders won their third superbowl while in Los Angeles.

Yeah, our metro has 6 and only one team.

I really don't care though. I am getting so sick of yinzers who only care about a sport. Ask somebody what is attractive about this town, and they don't mention the museums, the cultural district, the art scene, etc. Its all about "Them Stillers"

Congrats on the 7 superbowls! It's a shame both those teams are horrible now and you suck at every other sport! Huzzah!

I don't know about everyone else, but I've noticed an increasing number of posts from Bay Area whiners about how wonderful/ how much better their city is than everyone else. This is going to annoy me to no end. Not just because homers in ANY city are annoying, but because I LOVE San Francisco and don't want to hear the self-congratulatory whining that turns C-D members off to certain areas (see: Richmonder).

For the record, I don't care about San Francisco's past Superbowl trophies. They were a wonderful franchise, a dynasty even, for a while but have been terrible in almost every sport (with the exception of the always intriguing Oakland A's) recently.

That is exactly what I think too. One guy can post a "my city is superior" thread, and then there are 200 post on why it isn't, and why that city sucks. It is usually a troll that sets these threads up, so they can end up a bashing thread on that city.

Yeah, I would not be in the least bit surprised if this were the case. It's like clockwork... just as you described.

Actually the Pittsburgh Stealers won more Super bowls than all of the bay areas teams put together and shouldn't this be in the sportsforum not city vs city?
