Corpus??? I'm don't think Whataburger applies for eating healthy. Lol. If any Texas city deserves a title in the article it would be Austin.

Regarding Cincinnati, both of you are out of touch with reality. Naturally, any city this big will appear unhealthy if judged predominately on its sizable entitlement population struggling in some innermost food desert with joblessness, poverty and an overall inability to sustain healthy living. Just the opposite, however, in Cincinnati's many larger and more affluent surrounding metro areas where the residents value and maintain far healthier lifestyles.

From the Cincinnati Business Journal:

"Cincinnati came in behind Minneapolis; No. 2 Washington, D.C., and No. 3 Boston..."

Jacksonville has the youngest median age of any city in Florida (35) versus a state average of 41, a median household income of 70K and just 13% of adults minus health insurance. Miami has a median age of 40, a median household income of 47K and 25% of adults minus health insurance. So yeah, it clearly points that way.

Perhaps up against one's own heavily regarded perceptions.

"To reach its findings, Value Penguin reviewed health-food options, environmental factors, and current health habits of residents in 98 cities. To determine the ranking of each city, Value Penguin gave the greatest weight to cities with the most access to amenities per capita that helped residents be active and maintain a healthy lifestyle."

That's fairly typical of poor, low income neighborhoods. If you should venture out to the rest of the city you'll probably see a lot more of what the article alludes to.
