Boy, this is tough. I LOVE New England seafood (lobster, stripers, etc.), but the Pacific Northwest is super strong too. I also love blue crab along the Chesapeake Bay. I guess if I had to choose:

PNW
NE
Gulf Coast
Chesapeake

As much as I love the seafood in New England, the seafood I ate in the PNW just impressed me. Maybe I had great guides.

Gulf Coast hands down. With cities like Mobile, Houston, and New Orleans, it's hard to beat!

I think a lot of it has to do with what you grow up around, at least for those who grew up near one of these sources. While Mid Atlantic isn't on the list, I love the scallops and mussels because I've been eating them my whole life.

I've heard it said, in fact many people are saying, the Great Lakes is the "Third Coast", I don't know but that's just what people are saying
