Excluding property taxes which location will be the best if I earn between 45 and 55k next year? Specifically, I plan on living outside of these cities: in Ohio outside of a township w/high income taxes but probably 'some', outside Pittsburgh proper (I think Allegheny county does not tax income), or south of Raleigh.
Only weighing income tax, not sales or other taxes, or state fees. I think OH wins until those township taxes are included. Like NC but I think the taxes would be the worst of the three.
Appreciate any help on this as I've tried a few websites but can't seem to come to a conclusion for my probable earning bracket.
Raleigh is growing fast ATM, and with a large Democratic presence entering the state, it's only a matter of time that taxes will be raised to compensate for all the growth that's been occurring in NC.
Thanks HumpDay. Yeah, Raleigh already has the highest state tax rate. On another note I'm also tired of rapidly growing areas. Seen enough.
