I consider this age range between 20-40 years old. A young black men seeking black women.

We all know Atlanta, DC and Chicago have over 200k black women between in this age range in each metro.

Then you have bigger metros with a little less like Houston, Detroit, Dallas, Miami and Philly with over 100k black Women each.

All of these metros have thriving singles scenes for the AA community off of size alone.

However, when you get between 1-3.5 million metros it gets trickier, especially if you are in a city like Minneapolis which is approaching 4 million ppl, but with 45k dating options (20-40 something year old black women) for the purpose. What’s the scene like in cities like this? Is it scattered or clustered likethe aforementioned which have a pronounced black scene, I know it’s not the same size but just the general nature of the dating community there.

I use census reporter here because it gives the breakdown

https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...wi-metro-area/

or metros like Memphis that have just over 1 million, but have over 80k black Women in that dating range? Would such a place given the proportionality feel more intimate in this regard?

Or Hampton Roads, which has the 2nd highest percentage out of the metros/CSA's listed.

Another factor is youth though.

So let’s say you have two metros with 200k black women each, but one has 32% between 20-40 and the other 25% . That would impact the size here despite the overall community being the same size overall.

NC tends to be more hip year round and attracts younger folk than 7 cities ( Hampton) which is largely those that were raised there.

Not so much that, but I would want to relocate to a smaller city where I have lots of options regardless of how easy a few of them came to me.

This.

I voted every city, including "other," because you shouldn't have any issue in any of the cities you listed.. Or any major city in North America for that matter.

Again, it’s not that, I’m a 7 objectively who doesn’t conduct myself like a nerd off of the net. It’s very easy to hook up, even easier to date. But I like variety and options within the traits I describe above, that isn’t everywhere.
