Which city is more urban and walkable? Better restaurants and nightlife? More vibrant? Better transit? Better downtown? Better neighborhoods? Better historical architecture? Better urban corridors?

But does KC have anything like High Street in Columbus - a continuous urban corridor that cuts through a a number of different neighborhoods?

Yes, the plaza area, you can walk down it and get shot at to buying luxury items and eating fried chicken. Even have a hospital there to patch you up from the gunshot wound before you finish your shopping trip

Columbus by far, but its supporters are on better websites.

I've never been to KC but I just did some Google-imaging of the skyline and was surprised to learn that structural density between these two looks about even.

With its history of being a major American city, I don't doubt that KC is more urban though.

You have to be joking... Ohio users are on this site in disproportionately high numbers and are constantly defending the state and its cities (like you, presumably).

There are cities that lack supporters on this site but Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland are not them.

I lived in Columbus for a year and like the city/metro a lot. Have visited KC a lot since the 80's. I prefer KC. More to do recreationally and great food. Both are affordable and have nice people. A little less snow in KC. A lot less tornado threat in COL. In terms of walkability/urban/etc., maybe Columbus slightly more than KC. But, though that is nice, I'm not as obsessed with that as many C-Ders are. Other things outweigh that for me (economy, cost of living, buying power, recreational assets). I prefer KC overall.
