^i literally don’t think most people know what San Jose is. After I found out about it I got it confused with Santa Clara for the longest time for some reason.
Isn’t it just Like America’s largest suburb and not a city in any traditional sense? No offense if you from SJ OP. I’m just being honest and asking honest questions.
I'm not from San Jose lol but even if i was, i wouldn't mind it i mean it is what it is you know. I am from the Bay though and really surprised how less San Jose seems to be known seeing everyone's comments and the poll.
I always forget about San Jose. Oakland easily got my vote. Not sure how but I have almost no knowledge on San Jose. Will have to research it a bit more. Besides the Sharks!!
Edit: For the 3rd largest city in California and the 10th largest in the US it sure does have a low profile; my goodness. This has to be a case where the alternate name for an area just completely overshadows it. San Jose is Silicon Valley? Good to know.

Silicon Valley is pretty much the whole South Bay, San Jose is just the biggest part of it. Tesla is in Fremont, Apple in Cupertino, Lockheed has (or had?) a big facility in Mountain View, just for some easy examples. Not that there isn’t tech in other parts of the Bay, but the South Bay is the hub of it.
