I think a few of these should be added: take out Aspen and Telluride. Add San Juan and Santa Fe/Northern New Mexico
This list does change from year to year. Not sure how its all ranked, but I wouldn't sweat it. There are tons of "great places to visit" lists, all different from one another.

Out of those places, Ive been/lived in:

San Francisco
Grand Canyon
Lake Tahoe
San Diego
Las Vegas
Sedona

I love all of those places but NOTHING but touches Lake Tahoe.

But as far as cities goes, nothing touches San Diego. I am literally in love in with that city.

I think that list might be slightly biased. The top 18 or 19 are west of the Mississippi River. I am surprised Smokey Mountain National Park isn't on the list. It's the most visited national park in the country. It should of at least been in the Top 5, up tgere with Yellowstone and Yosemite. Also surprised no place in Texas made the list. I think more people would rather visit Texas than Juneau, Seattle, Savannah, Charleston, and the "Outer Banks" . I don't know what or where those are. I never even heard of them until now.

Been to all the bold. Ironically, have never been to Telluride, even though I live in Colorado.

The Outer Banks are well known. I’ve got friend in New York, Colorado, and California that know those barrier islands better than Charlotte, Raleigh or Asheville.

Disagree, I've spent time in Telluride and both summer and winter. It's exceptional and awesome and probably my favorite mountain town I've ever been to. Agree on Santa Fe being worthy. Never been to Aspen, but if I had a choice I'd pick going back to Telluride again over Aspen.

I sure the heck wouldn't!! I had almost booked a cruise leaving out of NY about 6 months ago. It would have left March 22nd. Sure glad I changed my mind!
