The stand-alone boutiques are doing fine...Canali consolidated from its Gables/Merrick Park location into Bal Harbour a couple of years ago (still has an outlet location at Sawgrass); Brioni, Kiton, Berluti doing fine. The one notable high end shoe brand, Santoni, closed its shop at Brickell City Centre.
They had ~40ish stores last year at this time, I believe they closed a handful of stores due to their issues, maybe 5-10. But they exited bankruptcy which is a good sign, unlike Barneys and L&T which couldn't get the financing in place.
I know the outside of DC is closing, one in Ft. Lauderdale, one near Seattle, not sure of the others.

Only most of the Neimans outlet stores closed (I think only the one at Grapevine Mills outside of Dallas remains).
The full-line department store lives on, and in fact they just exited bankruptcy court. The only locations targeted for closures were those in major metros that were redundant.

Didn't he say he lived in Dallas before Houston? And Chicago before that?
Don't think we should discount his work simply because he lived in an area.
He moves around. Hadn't he been in London, DC and Miami after Texas?
Who knows where he is nowadays
Lol true. But that’s that’s not why. It’s discounted for being outdated

Yeah, that's a solid tiering. I'd add Barney's to the top tier (maybe the top of the top tier for national stores) despite bankruptcy last year. And may put L&T a notch below Nordstrom at this point. But otherwise seems right.
Why dont you or someone else do it? This info isn’t hard to find. Just search up all the high end brands and where they have stand alone stores. The problem with that particular list is it isn’t exclusive to big brands.
So let’s make this list a group effort, first let’s all list brands that we agree as high end.
Gucci
Prada
Louis Vuitton
Fendi
Graff
Rolex
Breitling
Zimmermann
Dolce & Gabbana
Cartier
Tom Ford
Moncler
Canali
Harry Winston
Golden Goose
Versace
Hermès
Dior
Gianvito Rossi
Balancinga
Alexander McQueen
Chanel
I have lots more to add but busy atm. Any that should be adderd, copy and add on. Any disagreement with any brand on the list, state why, and I’ll crunch up the list later

Good add on list...add Brioni, Berluti and Richard Mille (watches—boutiques only).
