According to the US census, all of these metros have add one million people into their area, respectively. Which of these metros do you think are growing way too fast (Or can't handle the astronomical amount of growth)???

I vote for Phoenix; they were growing at leaps and bounds that this contributed to the over inflated home values that now is costing them enormously.

Please stop with the Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta polls. It seems like a new one pops up every 10 minutes.

i dont see why people complain when these cities are talked about.

These are 4 of the fastest growing cities in the US..... i think besides austin and vegas

These cities are going to encounter public transit problems, water suppy problems among others soon.

Therefore, they deserve to be talked about because they are growing faster than what is healthy for the city

People need to stop whining

Not Houston and Dallas. Both are expanding their train rail transit and Houston has bodies of waters nearby, Houston-Gulf of Mexico, Rivers, Galveston Bay, lakes etc..

Atlanta seems to be slowing down; it seems like Houston, Dallas, and Phoenix are taking or are about to take over and leave Atlanta behind.

According to population estimates released today for all metro areas by the U.S. Census Bureau, the Atlanta metro area gained 890,000 residents from April 1, 2000, to July 1, 2006, the largest numerical gain of the nation’s 361 metro areas. This Georgia metro area (Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta) was the nation’s ninth largest as of July 1, 2006 with a population of 5.1 million. Overall, six metro areas each gained at least 500,000 people between 2000 and 2006.
