I love big cities, with people bustling the streets, lots of skyscrapers, public transportation, jobs, nice women, like sunny weather ( but not too bothered about year long sunshine) and i would probably would be moving alone so it would be nice to meet new friends too! What city do you think would be best for me and why? thanks!

hoping to get a job/degree in IT,business or something like that.. I would be fairly flexible with rent prices, I did some research on craigslist and i don't think it would be too much of an issue

Hmmm, IT jobs are iffy. My dad got laid off a few times here in NYC. Not really a good field to be in nowadays since lots of it is being outsourced.

Those kinds of jobs don't start out terribly high, so there has to be a rent max.

For NYC that would get you a studio in the outer-boroughs. It's nice here though.

From that list, public transit and good weather are almost mutually exclusive.

I think if you want to meet nice women (and I mean "nice" in the down-to-earth sense), you might be better off in Chicago. Having lived in LA & NYC (both of which are great cities), the women aren't nice in either place (to put kindly). In my visits to Chicago, the people are very nice. That Chicago winter is another story.....

If that's the case, go with Chicago. That can get a decent 1br there in a cool neighborhood. In the other cities it would probably put you in a suspect area. If roommates are an option then the other cities would be more feasible on your budget.

Also, you will need a car in LA for sure. That would be optional in NYC, Chicago, or SF.
