Oh I agree..not my ideal paradise either (not exactly Malibu) but I'm just saying I could tolerate it to a shack in NY.

To answer your question, definitely the mansion. I don't know why everyone hates on Florida so much - but to each their own. Some have said they would live in substandard housing just for the privilege of living in NYC. I don't understand that thinking at all, but NYC isn't for everyone either. If I could choose where to live in NY, it would be at least an hour or two from the city limits.

What's wrong with that? As if Floridians and Texans aren't in love with their states...

I love FL, but I wouldn't live in a shack . I would not degrade myself to live where I want. If I would, I would live in a trailer in the Keys.

But if u had money u can fix it up. No one said had to lower ur standards. i Voted for the shack. I can just fix it up to my liking. There was no suggested scenario so u basically can do whatever u want to the house.

Come on, a Shack? You can't fix up a shack. You might as well tear it down and build a house, and that would be off topic. Live in a shack or mansion, not buy a shack and a renovate it.
