OMG GORGEOUS!!!! I miss that place.

I have been to Vegas & Reno. Reno is absolutely beautiful. I love them both...but especially Reno

I chose Vegas in terms of fun though. However, I also consider being outdoors fun as well.

You might, but those pictures don't do anything for me. I can find some beautiful pictures of FL beaches that would blow those out of the water, but that would be off topic.

The thing is that the lakes in the Las Vegas area are very unusual and very pretty. It's very picturesque with red-tinted mountains in the background of crystal blue water, AND in the desert. Can't find that in many areas of the country. Beaches like the ones in Florida can be found all over the coasts.

Gambling, I have to go with Vegas.

But, I HATE gambling. So, I will go with Atlantic City.

Nice broadwalk, the Atlantic, and I'm not too far away from either NYC, Phil, or DC.

Where as in Vegas or Reno, you're pretty much in the desert.

I don't like gambling either, but I still choose Vegas. There's ample entertainment outside of gambling. Then again, I also really like the desert.

Reno is only a 2.5 hour drive to sacramento and another 2 or so to san francisco.

DC > Sacramento.

Philadelphia > San Francisco. ( That is debateable ).
