Jersey Shores have a bigger variety.

Chicago has the most unique and best lake fronts as a city, but NJ has the most unique shores in the country also, and the NJ shores are on a ocean.

There are no waves in Chicago!
It's like standing in a big, well........... lake.
If I want to go to the beach, I want a beach experience. Not a humongous wading pool.

At the end of the day, we are talking about the beach. You know, with waves & sand & water. It's a vital part of the beach experience IMO. Otherwise, why not just lay out by the pool?

Sand and water is what really makes a beach.
Never thought waves mattered.
And Lake Michigan still has waves.... don't know what you're talking about comparing it to a pool.

Jersey Shore has 240-mile beaches along the Atlantic Coast. It has Atlantic City and lots of other cities with downtowns! It's real ocean.

Stuff NJ has and Chicago lake front doesn't

fun filled boardwalks

Real Oceanic waves

Private beaches

Gambling

It just has a wider variety.. the only thing Chcago has over NJ shores is it has a mega city hovering its water front.
