Interesting enough, the above stats do not account for building under construction. With that said, in Charlotte that does not account for Duke Energy Center or the VUE, which will put Charlotte's 600+ to 4, and a total of 20 over 300. It could be more because the new Bank of America office building and the Ritz-Carlton are not included. The Ritz I am not sure how tall that is suppose to be.

I am also ignorant of the new building under construction in Baltimore. If anybody has some info please share. I do want to stress under construction and not in the planning phases.

I think you're referring to 1 Bank of America Center in your last sentence. It will be 30 stories and I know it will be over 300 ft, but I'm not exactly sure how tall. The Ritz-Carlton isn't 300+ ft. tall; not sure exactly how tall, but it's not that tall, I can say that. I'm not sure how tall Catalyst and NASCAR Plaza are, but if they're over 300 ft, it's not by a whole lot.

What would the count be for Baltimore over 600 ft? Both of those don't cross that line, but still tall nevertheless.

On a side note, If you're driving by the Concord Regional Airport on Poplar Tent, you can actually see the skyline of Charlotte. Rather fascinating.

Baltimore doesn't have any buildings over 600'...the tallest is 529'. Charlotte has 3 over 600', with 2 more under construction.

Ummmm, for comparison sake, there are two residential towers in this photo that were completed in Charlotte very recently..

Trademark Condos - 28 floors/325ft (far left side)
Avenue Condos - 36 floors/425ft (far right side)
