Uh, I think I threw you off with saying 'M' instead of 'S.' I mean Monica, as in Santa Monica beach.

I like how DTLA comes up to a tall peak. And it looks amazing when you're on the tall flyover ramps on the 105/110 interchange looking down on it. Like a massive alien mothership that has come to rest in the basin.

It also looks pretty dope from the rooftops of Koreatown, to the west:

Yes, LA does have a taller skyline, but its also a little skyline that lacks density. SF's skyline isn't the tallest around, but it is taller than Vancouver's. Plus with the construction of an 800 footer and the 1,070 Salesforce building, height wont be much of an issue for SF in a few years.

Oh SF...you're adorable. Don't ever change.
Smog hasn't been bad in LA for decades? I think you mean that its improved remarkably, but no, it still IS an issue. Its just not as bad as it was before.

San Francisco's skyline is bland with not much color and from certain angles is all the same height with a point and the top of the black box sticking out the top.

With exception of the Transamerica Pyramid I kind of have to agree. It's the setting with the water, bridges, hills, and other iconic structures that make it such a beautiful skyline but as far as the high rises themselves it's a bit "meh".

I see. Yeah Santa Monica is quite vibrant. However I don't find it any more vibrant than Downtown LA, Westlake, Koreatown, East Hollywood, which are all located right around those high-rises. More white people, yes. But more vibrant? No.

Default Took this shot with my cell off of my TV, so the quality sucks, but LA looks good. I voted SF by the way.

R u kidding? Downtown LA has plenty of angles that look bland.

These are not flattering at all:

This one is better but very small looking next to SF's skyline:

I like Downtown LA from the South the best. From the West, North and East not so much.
