I just returned from Denver, Colorado Springs and a tour of the mountain areas of Colorado. I have never seen so many people with tattoos.

What metro area has the highest number of people with tattoos? Is it Denver or somewhere else?

Tattoos have become very mainstream over the last 7 or so years (witness Hollywood actresses and sorority girls everywhere. I think that there is no one city where they are more popular than any other.

severly tatt'd up people in cities is equivalent to mini-vans/soccor moms in the suburbs

but seriously, the hipster craze has re-invigorated body art. i got some done 15 yrs ago and they look like prison tattoos compared to what i'm seeing
these days.

I have to say the artwork I see on shows like LA Ink truly blows my mind. I sometimes wish I had the nerve to go for something that colourful, creative and large! But I think I'll be sticking with my little black on flesh gecko for the time being.

All I have to say is if you aren't a samoan warrior or in MS13 don't get a facial tattoo.

I honestly hate tattoos in general but a select few ive seen are pretty awesome.

I would think of SoCal as being the hub of tattoos but, as everestclimb said, in this day and age, it is pretty damn mainstream and can be found anywhere.
