I have a free weekend next weekend and thinking about taking some photos in either one of these two cities. Which would be better for picture taking since both are under 3 hours from Louisville?

I've been to both, and you'll find interesting things in both cities.

But, personally, I just think you'll find more of them in Cincinnati, particularly if you like more neighborhoods, architecture, hills, etc.

IMO, Cincy wins in both skyline and Historic neighborhoods.

Cincinnati is one of the most beautiful inland cities in America. Its only rival is another Ohio River city, Pittsburgh. Each of these cities owes Mother Nature (via topography) a big thank you.

Both cities are decent, but I'd say the edge goes to Cincinnati. Maybe I'm biased, since the KY side offers great views of Cincy, and is also interesting to check out. Sadly, I probably won't get back to Cincy till 2012 or 2013, and since I'm overdue in wanting to make a return trip there. (and this time, I'll throw in some time to briefly explore Covington and Newport)

yep, cincy because of the hills. Nashville is no slacker though. Pretty photogenic.

Probably Cincy, but Nashville does have a full-scale replica of the Parthenon. Just sayin'....

I'm sure this won't be the only free weekend forever. Flip a coin. Wherever you go this time, go to the other place next. That's the way I do it.
