Using their economies, amenities, universities, quality of life etc. as factors; which 2 state capitals do you prefer. Try and be unbiased and not necessarily say your own state's capital.

I like Columbus, Ohio and Austin, Texas; both are home to major universities, have diversified economies, are progressive cities. Both have appeared at one time or another in the top 10 rankings for various city statistics and as the best cities to live in or for businesses to operate.

What are your favorites?????

I give Atlanta the edge mainly for it's more diverse populous, geographical location and moderate climate.

Atlanta and Boston....the largest two metro areas, plus they have sports teams and nice areas.

We have the exact same thought process. I want the two most urban areas possible too. Most states do not have their best city represented as the capital. But, with my choices limited to capitals, Boston is my first pick with Atlanta as my second pick.
