What it means is that Houston's Methodist Hospital (see list, Item 20) is part of that Texas Medical Center that you've been hearing about. Guess what you've been hearing is true.

Why would it make the list?? TMC is not a hospital.

1 of the many hospitals in that medical center making #20 in the country isn't impressive at all.

I gotta say it again, go New York hospitals

The list is based on how many specialities the hospitals have. Why would each of the 13 hospitals located in TMC specialize in the same thing???

NY hospitals are great...but not to the exclusion of the FABULOUS facilities to be found at the likes of Texas Medical Center, Duke University Medical Center and the University of Washington Medical Center.
