Here's another neighborhood map that the Washington City Paper put out. Kind of funny. I live in The Liquorridor which is obviously where a lot of the bars and clubs are. I like how they have Fannypakistan for the National Mall.

St Louis has 79 distinct neighborhoods in 61 square miles. Sorry I couldn't find a larger/clearer image:

I still think LDN probably edges out NYC,33 boroughs compared to 5.

But at the same time NYC is physically larger than London. I don't know though.

Here's 2 different ones for Atlanta(a city I've strongly considered moving to one day), I'm unsure if the second one is allowed per C-D board rules. I frustratingly looked around IntownHomes247 for an official policy covering copyrights or hotlinking, and didn't find an official site policy anywhere. Someone on Gapers Block or another one of Chicago's blogs should make a similar map for Chicago, that DC map was great.

I wish someone would create a better neighborhood Atlanta map more similar to ones I've seen of Chicago and Saint Louis:

overall map of all 50 Atlanta neighborhoods, without their names(from 'Neighborhoods of Atlanta' article)
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/72/Atlanta-hoods-shields.PNG (broken link)

Northeast quadrient of Atlanta, including at least 2 separate municipalities(i.e. Decatur, Avondale Estates) and 2 unincorporated ones(Tucker, Brookhaven) that aren't part of the city

I know this is an old thread... but it really was very interesting, and I hated to see it end so suddenly. So I'm bumping it in hopes of giving it a new life.

I love the strange and colorful names for some of these neighborhoods! Back of the Yards (Chicago), Foggy Bottom (DC), Hell's Kitchen (NYC), Strawberry Mansion (Philly), Four by Four (Balt), Throg's Neck (NYC), Devil's Pocket (Philly). In St. Louis, we have a neighborhood that everyone calls Dogtown (but the city calls it "Clayton-Tamm".)

Harbor East gives Baltimore 226; Harbor Point will give the city 227.
