Stop hating on the car, and how it has transformed the "true" urban landscape.
Lazy ass, lol no offense meant. Driving everywhere fighting traffic to most of us insn't nearly as enjyable as taking a visualy stimulating stroll through urban districts and parks that provide dining, people watching a chance to actually mingle with other people ect, ect vs just speeding through the streets in a car for hours every dat, not to mention the cost of gas that we had a couple years ago. I am sooooooo happy that houston has made so many strides in the past few years to change the city essentially over night, a few more walkable areas and a little more density and i'll be pretty happy. Oh and driving through dense urban areas while the other 2.2 million houstonians drive through the same inner loop areas is pure hell, i wish there was more mass transit and walking being done.

This one Atlanta wins fairly easily. Not only do I enjoy Atlanta downtown, midtown, and uptown, a lot, but throw in Buckhead and a couple other very vibrant, walkable areas, and this is no contest. Not to mention, you can travel around to almost all of the main spots via MARTA, including the airport. When I fly into Atlanta for a weekend getaway, no car needed. I take MARTA to Buckhead grab a hotel, and then walk/ride all over town.

Yes and they new Beltline project they got going on is going to be awesome. From looking at google map and images; Atlanta (inner city parts and suburbs) is built more like a east coast city while Houston/Dallas are built more like the west coast.

YES! You are the first person aside from me and Lifeshadower to think that too!

Man I am repping you for that one. I think as time goes on, Texas Cities and Atlanta will have so much difference as they grow more of their own qualities and diverge from one another.

EDIT: Just tried to rep you, but it told me to spread it around first.

I rank them in this order:

1. Atlanta
2. Houston
3. Dallas

Dallas is a distant third compared to Atlanta and Houston.
