I really can't decide between which one of these places I'm going to move to. I would love to hear what you think and your experiences in these places. I like rain and warm beaches, but I'm worried Miami might have too much crime. What are the people like in these cities? Are they rude, friendly, or snobby? Which place has a better city-lifestyle? Thanks for your input, it really helps

Reason: Moved from FLORIDA forum
I would say San Diego for sure, but you would miss the rain. If you move to Miami you must speak Spanish (or not mind that everyone else does) or you will be miserable. My husband and I lived in Miami for fours years and didn't speak Spanish; we were treated like second-rate citizens many times. And before someone says it's the same in San Diego, we lived in L.A. and not being able to speak Spanish was never an issue for us.

And that's pretty sad being that you're still in America and feel like an outsider. More power to those that can stand living in Miami.
What's the most important criteria to you? rain and warm beaches? nice people? city life?
Rain would be Seattle and Miami.
Warm beaches would be Miami. SD's water is only warm enough to swim in during summer and even then some people consider it too chilly.
City lifestyle, probably a slight edge to Seattle then it's probably a toss up between Miami and SD. South Beach though is probably the best for a combination of city and beach lifestyle but I personally find it a fairly weird place b/c of the mix of interesting people, not that is necessarily a bad thing. It's interesting but maybe too interesting for some people.
Also have you actually visited all three cities? If not then I would really suggest doing so, especially Miami.
