Was orginally from New York, then lived for 18 years in Southwest Florida. Was tired of the crowds and longed for small town living . . . we picked a beautiful town in the Brushy Mountains, close to Blowing Rock, Boone, and near Hickory & Statesville.
This town has changed our lives and the way we want to live. We are, unfortunately having to relocate again, but we are hoping to buy something here, smaller, for a 2nd home. The people are great, the scenery is great, and there is so much to do, it's been a piece of heaven for us.
This is the best home we have every lived in, they don't build homes like this anymore, and we are on over an acre of land, and live downtown in walking distance to stores and library.
