Well I see a lot of questions on where to live when relocating to Fort Bragg. My husband and I chose to rent a home in Pinehurst. It is beautiful here, quiet and safe. If you love golfing this is the place to be. It is about 35-40 min from Fort Bragg, 10 min from Southern Pines and 10 mins from Aberdeen where all the big shops and restaurants are. We are in the process of moving now, as I am expecting and want to live close to family. The owners are great and so I am trying to help them out by getting their house rented. They have a deep respect for the military and offer discount on their rent if you are active military. They allow pets and the house is on the end of the street backing to the woods. You see deer all the time back here, it's really nice. I am going to miss this place but at the same time I am excited to be near family.
