Great suggestions, Rosie!!!

CoastalGirl: I can send the file to anyone else who is interested in putting out flyers for the little guy.

Anyone else in the area want to put out some flyers? All you would have to do is print off the ones you need and place them . . . I will be glad to email the flyer PDF to anyone interested.

Also - any online resources where pet owners may look to see if anyone has found their furkid????

petfinder.com has a "lost" and "found" section. Listings are free.

Coastal, I sent you a dm.

As a p.s. I'd just caution anyone who finds a dog or cat to be very careful about who they release it to. Not everyone who claims to be the owner really is. Some dogs are claimed (easier than stealing them) and sold to research labs just for the $$. Some are used for bait in dog fighting. Don't provide too much info...let the caller supply the info and see if it matches what you know.

This little guy is lucky to have found you, and is counting on you to see to his safety.

Great suggestions!!! The sad truth is - we have dog fighting going on nearby. They have done some big raids in SC. Sick, I know, but it is true - dogs are used for "bait" as revolting as that is to even consider.

x - they would make a cute couple!! If you are serious, I will let you know what happens. We are taking him around to groomers tomorrow to see if anyone recognizes him since he was groomed probably about a week ago. We have decided to name him Brewster, in the meantime. He is the sweetest!!

Ani - if anyone is interested, you can email the fliers to them also. Just not sure he came from too far away, but you never know!

He is really adorable. I wish we could take him... but 2 dogs, 2 cats, and three kids... we're full up around here!
