A lot of these complexes right now are doing just that up here!i wouldn't worry too much about that in any case,I think I would opt for the newer place opposed to the older one ,just an opinion, but chances are if the building is newer the systems probably work better & more efficient heating etc;Hope this helps some.
My father in law has a newly renovated house for rent in Southbridge in the country on rt169 and it has a very private yard for $1100 and he has avail apartments in Dudley,MA between $600-900.

Just to let you know where the properties are, The southbridge house is on tipton rock road off of rt 169. You go past farm land to get there and very tranquil. The Dudley apartment building is right across from the Nichol's college Golf course. It is a large house converted into apartments. My FIL has been restoring each one as soon as someone moved out. so over like a 7 yr period he has done them all. send me a private message and I will tell you who to contact. thanks, Scott

My son and his family is moving into the area and wish to rent a house for one or one-half year while they become familiar with the country side. Is the house you have still available for rent? Will you rent it for 6 mon., a year or what? I await your reply.
