Hello, i'll be moving from Warren to the east Cleveland area in May and am looking for an apartment in the Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, University Circle areas. It will just be myself so safety and affordability are my top concerns. I'm looking for an apartment for no more then $520/m. I'll be going to Tri-C Eastern Campus so anything closer is fine but really looking at the Cle Heights/Shaker area. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Default seems you picking

The right areas , Have you been to the areas you metioned? Will you
drive to and from the campus or use public transit ?
Other posters will be able point you in the right direction .Have you
asked the Tri -C people about housing ?
Sorry for the questions back at you , but more information from you
the better for posters to give you thier thoughts.

I have been to the areas, about a dozen times over the last 6 months. I plan to drive but also would like to utilize public transportation. Tri-C does not offer housing.

These areas have a lot of students living there and they have some great public transportation options. If you end up in Shaker, you have the Rapid. If you live in Cleveland Heights or University Circle, you have access to both the Rapid and the HealthLine.

Many people recommend the Little Italy and Coventry areas because there are so many students there and so much to do. Both those areas are pretty safe.

Shaker Heights is probably your best bet for quick access to Tri-C East.
