Please trust me when I tell you that Cincinnati's premier neighborhoods such as Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout, and East Walnut Hills (let alone, the uber-rich echelon of Indian Hill immediately outside the city-limits) are not that open to the scrutiny of "drive-by inspections" from outsiders such as yourselves. You may drive by, you may look--but you may not come in without a pedigree of your own.

Believe me, Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout, and East Walnut Hills decide upon such things amongst themselves before you're ever invited to approach their doorsteps. YOU DO NOT--it's really up to them. Let it be known, high-society Cincinnati culture locks itself away and protects itself against invasions from "barbarians-at-the-gate," including Clevelanders who honestly believe they understand what culture's all about. To even suggest that high-society Cincinnati, hidden away amongst the city's eastern-most hills, is in any way "southern" is to rank oneself as one of the most misinformed and ignorant outsiders ever.
