Um, no. How about hire people who make better decisions and draft players who don't turn into busts? Maybe spend some money to get the attention of some free agents. That would be a good start. Uniforms don't cause sucking and horrible play and bad decisions.

The Browns haven't been good enough to be "cursed." Systematic failure to select good coaches and players year after year after year does not equal a curse. Talk to me when they're fumbling at the goal line in the AFC championship game again.

That's what you get for listening to (and actually taking seriously) Mike Trivisonno. The Cleveland Browns are an NFL institution. /thread

If you want to break the curse by rebranding them, there is one guaranteed way to make them a winner: Change the first name.

Instead of Cleveland, make them Los Angeles, or Toronto, or Portland, or even Bismark. Changing the name of the city always seems to work for a team, coach, or player that used to be called a Cleveland Brown (or Cav or Indian)...Super Bowl bound!

HELL NO!!!!!! We as fans didn't fight for the name, history and colors for nothing, just so we can change the name! First off, the NFL isn't a fashion show! Second of all, for those that want to talk that s*** go move to another city, and cheer for another team!

This too! The Browns need an owner that actually gives a s***! Say what you want about Modell, but at least he cared about his franchise!

I think Lerner gives a s**t, I also think he's clueless about running a franchise. He has spent a lot of cash over the years. He has also made a LOT of bad hires. Hopefully, Holmgren will be able to do the job. You have to give him some time.

PS - All Modell ever cared about was filling the stadium.

I understand what you're saying, but how can you continue p*** away your money like that? Holmgren has just left a bad taste in my mouth lately, and I think he seriously goofed by bringing in this coach.
