So i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one here who is completely fed up with this gloomy, cold, and just plain crappy weather that refuses to GO AWAY. I mean this is just straight up depressing! I've lived here all my life (30 years) and while i know we've dealt with it before, for some reason this year it seems to be unbearable. I think i've met my breaking point this winter and i will be (like apparently many other Clevelanders) searching for a new move down south, specifically Florida this Fall. If there are people reading this that are considering moving here, BEWARE what you are in for. If you like the sun, warmth and blue skies, then your looking in the wrong place and it will bring you down, just sayin. Its been well over a week since we've had any of those. Ok i think i've vented enough, i just had to get that out since surprisingly i don't see any threads about it on here and i would like to see how many others think the same.

This idea only appears in about 50% of all threads. Thanks for making it its own thread. Maybe we can get all the negative softies to stick to this one thread instead of polluting the others with their "problems."

And that's why I said it's good! Although if I were you I'd make the title of the thread more reflective of the content. "Banal snow rants" could work.

Funny, cities like Toronto, Seattle, Portland, Pittsburgh, and others with similarly crisply winter weather are all very popular cities. Houston, Phoenix, Miami, Atlanta are also very popular despite their incredibly crappy summer weather. No place is perfect, it's a matter of looking at the pros and the cons and deciding which one outweighs the other.

Well, this year at least, we can't blame a cold, crappy March on Cleveland as much of the country is suffering the same fate as well. St. Louis just got record snowfall for this late in the season. And I heard that tonight they're calling for freeze warnings all the way down to Florida.

Maybe we should blame it on Punxsutawney Phil. Time for the groundhog to retire, methinks. Early Spring, indeed!

If I remember correctly, I've shoveled only once this winter and I only shoveled once last winter too. That's a fair trade-off for our summers. Gray skies? Meh, deal with it.

You know it rains pretty much every afternoon in Florida right (even if only for a little bit)?

A. Sucky winter= Nice spring/summer/fall

B. Very little winter= No spring/inferno summer/no fall

And hello.. it was sunny on Sunday. It was sunny on Friday.
I swear I think Clevelanders just can't see the sunshine when it's out.
O crap... today is really sunny too. And may even hit a normal temperature.
Hello?!? It's MARCH. Half of the country is experiencing BELOW average temps.
Oh wait... I get it. You just got spoiled by last March where we had 4 days over 80 degrees, 9 days over 70 degrees, and averages for most of the month around 60, right???

As someone who does not let the weather bother me, I will admit, I am certainly dying for some warmer temps... but to blame it all on Cleveland??? Be serious...

I was just telling some co-workers how nice it was to NOT have to hear so far this Spring "only in Cleveland....".
So much for that...

Now if this is just tongue-in-cheeck ranting?? Pardon me. Rant away. Get it off your chest.
