Just thought I'd post a note about our recent visit to Cleveland, which I had never visited before (except for an accidental motorhome drive through "East Cleveland" 25 years ago which reminded me of a warzone!).

We (married couple, late 50s) went from West Michigan to Cleveland, Ohio for the Eagles Concert on 7/9 but came early for the Tigers/Indians game on 7/8. Both were awesome events and held in beautiful venues. All the people were nice and friendly. Our hotel (Hilton Garden) was decent, until we got hit with unexpected, not-well-advertised parking charges. Yikes!)

We did the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on 7/9 also. Spent about 6 hours there and still didn't look at everything. Just a great time! We walked along the Lake Erie shore behind the R&RHOF too. Nice!

We visited the West Side market and stopped by to see The Arcade. Both are impressive for their own reasons. We hit up the Tilted Kilt pub for a Guinness after the concert too.

"A Christmas Story" House was closed (we knew that) but we had to drive down and see it and pose for photos anyway.

We drove home the long way, along Lake Erie, looking at all the big old houses and stopping in some small towns until we hit Toledo and then grabbed the highways home.

We highly recommend Cleveland for a nice little vacation!

Thanks!
KCCO!!
