Is there any dollar theater in west part of cleveland which is close to Westlake/Avon/Avonlake?

If not any other theaters where I do not have to pay high prices? I do not mind slightly old movies but paying full price is very expensive with the family

There's a cheap theater in Lakewood (The Detroit), but it's crummy. People have been trying to buy the owners out for years but they won't budge. But, you can see a $3 movie there. I don't think there are $1 theaters anywhere anymore...unless you count peep booths

I don't know of any dollar theatres, but the Detroit theatre in Lakewood is $4 and the theatre in Amherst (about 10 mi west of Westlake) is $3. Also Regal Cinemas at Crocker Park shows free family movies once a week all summer (they're usually pretty old movies). There is also a drive in in North Ridgeville -- I'm not sure what they charge, but I think its cheaper than most big theatres.

Default Amc!

There is an AMC theater on Center Ridge in Fairview park that has $4 movies on Tuesdays...and those are new movies! You also get a small popcorn included...(you have to buy the drink) but it is worth it.

They have the same deal at Ridge Park Square off of Ridge rd. and 480

Default Boy is this Op Question old

However if it helps others , Parma Theater , on Ridge Road , Just south of
Snow Road , one sidestreet on the right , is the entrance to the parking lot.
This is an older theater , that does make it cheaper , but clean ,
current prices are 6.50 for adults , 4.50 for children and seniors.
I been there many times , and it is well worth the drive if one , does
not live in Parma, as I live in walking distance of Cleveland's Capital Theater ( Gordan Square )

Lorain Palace Theatre is $3.00 and they are 2nd Run. Currently showing American Husle and Philomena. That's also the closest to Avon.

Events Calendar | Lorain Palace Theater

Detroit Theatre in Lakewood was torn down about 2 years ago and a McDonald's sits in it's place.

There is still a drive-in in North Ridgeville showing movies from Spring through fall. But it's $9.00 for adults

Now Showing at the Aut-O-Rama

Parma Theatre is the only other west side 2nd run theater.

That Parma Theater closed in 2012 after a fire. There used to be an indy video game store next to it that closed as well. The polish community is trying to save the building.
