Really? LOL I've never heard anyone complain about that. It's the only city around with the word 'River' in it.
It works. We have ROCKY RIVER DRIVE...which could not be abbreviated "River"...or the Rocky River river.... which technically could be called "River" but then you'd have no idea it was THAT river you were talking about... But if someone asks "where do you live" and you reply "River"... I don't see a problem here.

Rocky River has a lot of to do, and the schools are top notch. It's not even close.

Bay Village vs Rocky River and vice versa will be a matter of preference. People LOVE both communities. Have you been able to tour the different cities and get a feel for where you may want to land?
