Love this building; we used to call it the Holy Oil Can.

Does anyone have a picture of the Tower Center RTA Transit from Red line to Blue/Green lines? Do you recommend taking RTA from Airport into downtown?

Yes!!! I am not from CLE and have only been there 2x in the last year from CA. Both times, off plane, walk to RTA IN the airport. Pay 2.25 and get on and ride to Tower. I stayed at two hotels on Euclid so it was a 2-3 min. walk from Tower. EASY!

Highly recommend!!!

The online schedules are easy to view, but it's just the red from Hopkins to Tower.

I don't have a picture, but that's what I use when I come to town. Used it on Friday actually. Easy, convenient, pretty quick (30 minutes or so to get downtown). Then I transfer onto the green line and get to my east side destination in about 25 minutes. Really enjoy the ride actually.

Transferring to the Blue or Green Lines from the Red Line, or vice versa, is a separate fare. Day passes for unlimited RTA travel are only $5. There are significantly discounted rates, such as for children and seniors 65 years old or greater.

Don't think that's necessarily true. Came with my gf in the summer. Paid exactly once. Came on Friday, paid once. Not sure exactly what i bought though. sometimes I buy the 5 ride pass. Transferring within a certain time window includes all transfers. Or I just buy a week pass since I typically take the rapid when I'm in town, usually for about a week.

Day passes are a good deal. Same thing in boston costs like $13.

If you bought a pass or 5-ride farecard, there are free transfers within 2 1/2 hours (although transfers are irrelevant with day passes). If you buy single tickets, you have to pay for the transfer.

Notice also that the payment method is different on the Red Line than on the Blue and Green Lines.

How to Ride | Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority

Cleveland RTA's fare system seems ridiculously complicated unless a day pass is purchased.
