shaker square is alright not much happening there because alot of ppl there therefore less crime cuz there are to many witnesses and moreland area is kinda edgy . i wouldn't say its bad but it aint the greatest.

It's a nice area, lots of CWRU students live in apartments around there. Some cool restaurants on the Square and Larchmere.

Honestly I can't think of too much bad to say about Shaker Square.

I personally love the train lines that go through.
