Those of you with kids, which high school would you send your kids too? I live in the S.E.L. district and Brush High is the high school. That school has fallen dramatically since i went ther in the 80's. I'd hate to move because the neighborhood is really nice. Plus, i work in Beachwood, and don't want an extra long commute. Thanks!

I'd probably give the edge to Solon, although both are good high schools.

Brush is still doable. Yes, there are fights and the school is rough around the edges, but the education is pretty good and most kids can get by with no problems. Mayfield also has its share of fights (during a fire alarm someone stabbed another kid in the neck randomly). Solon probably has way fewer conflicts but it might be a culture shock to a kid who grew up in the SE-L district to suddenly not have the kind of diversity they're used to. I would give Brush a chance.
