A lady from Florida wrote this blog about investing in real estate property in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. I think a good name for this article would be "Snakes In A Condo". It definitely is scary. http://babs.horizon.com/wilmington-blog.html (broken link)

Has anyone else (especially if you are in the real estate business) thought about the impact this may have on property values in downtown Wilmington? Anybody else had trouble moving property in the area because of people expressing these kinds of concerns? How safe is that snake place anyhow?

Wow, that's really creepy. I see they do birthday parties! LOL

I lived in Wilmington for 11 years and there are lots of snakes there. We had a 3 foot one sun basking across our front porch one time. Another time I was working in the yard and one was right next to my feet and I didn't even realize it. I used to find the shedded skins in my flower beds all the time. Still makes my skin crawl just thinking about it.

Another reason for me to dislike that place. It's was bad enough I broke my ankle from a rip current.
