I am interested to hear news regarding any new businesses that are coming to town. I've heard rumors of Lowes Hardware, Target and Chick-fil-A all going in across the street from Brunswick Forest's main entrance. Can anyone confirm or supply new business info? (It will be great when we don't have to cross the bridge to do our shopping and dining!)

Pudy68, I live in BF and we were told recently in an update by our neighborhood rep to the BF HOA that the rumors about those stores are just that...rumors.

I don't know about businesses headed to Leland but often the best sources for that are HOA reps who have regular communication with county reps and even chamber of commerce reps, etc. So parrotgirl's input is probably dead on.

Pudy68, the Shoe Center is open now, and Pizzetta's will open their Leland location in late October...if I hear anything else, I'll PM you.

As someone moving into BF in November - What Leland needs is a good place to get the car serviced. Meineke or Midas or something. I don't want to go over the bridge just to get the car serviced. I'm not going to Walmart to get my oil changed.

Thanks parrotgirl. I live in BF, too. I have some friends that live off of Lanvale and they have a contact in local corporate banking that says it's more than just a rumor about Lowe's. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I am hoping!!

I'd like to see more chain restaurants, personally. I enjoy Applebee's now, but we need more options. I've been to Pizzetta's in Wilm a few times, and I find it to be so-so. Some things are really good, and some aren't. I hope they fare well in BF, though. It may be tough going for them because Falcone's just opened in the HT plaza, and they are always busy.

I will be dancing in the streets once someone from up north moves down here and opens a fabulous Chinese restaurant...wow, we really need one here in my opinion.

I wonder when they will start building the hotel. Also hoping another movie house is willing to take the chance with a build. I think they'd do really well since there are no competitors anywhere near us.
